I offer a direct and focused approach to therapy, always rooted in warmth and respect. If you are feeling overwhelmed or stuck in cycles within your thoughts, emotions, or relationships, I provide a solid, grounding presence. Together, we will untangle what feels chaotic and I will offer you fresh perspectives and insights that can help you to shift your understanding. This is a collaborative process, where you will be met with calm, safety, and a clear path forward.

I work integratively, combining Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Internal Family Systems approaches. I have a particular interest in working with anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem and relationship issues, but I have also worked with many clients who are struggling with depression, suicidal ideation, loss and gender issues.

IFS offers an invaluable approach to understanding the parts of yourself that feel anxious, hopeless or stuck. Through understanding what motivates or burdens these parts of ourselves, we can shift ingrained dynamics and bring about meaningful change in your life.

Relationship Issues

Relationships can be complex and challenging. I can help you to navigate these challenges by first, addressing how past experiences or traumas may be impacting your current day relationships, then identifying what your needs are and developing communication tools.  

Trauma and PTSD

Trauma comes in many shapes and forms and can have a long-lasting impact on your mental health. I can help you to process your experiences, develop tools for managing your here and now symptoms, and support you in working towards healing and recovery.

Loneliness

Psychotherapy can help with loneliness by offering a safe, consistent space where you can feel truly listened to and understood. Together, we will gently explore what may be contributing to your sense of disconnection and work towards building a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself and others.

Self-Esteem and Confidence

Low self-esteem and confidence can impact every aspect of an individual's life. I use IFS techniques to help you identify the parts of yourself that criticise you and that feel unworthy, addressing the underlying causes and beginning to strengthen your relationship with yourself.

Chronic stress and burnout can take a toll on your physical and mental health. I can help you to develop coping strategies, set healthy boundaries, and find balance in your life.
